Third 14 Days of Stay at Home (Day 30)

16th April 2020, Thursday

When we were entering the mid second phase of MCO, I think I gave up in working from home, doing work on the laptop preparing lesson plans, I don't know why but it just drained off my energy even though I'm just sitting down facing the laptop compared to normally I would be active, making music and teaching children in class. Now, I'm only left with online class individual piano class on Sunday which actually I'm kind off reluctant in doing it. So much preparation to do and I always feel anxious whenever I need to have online class. Maybe I'm still not used to using all this online methods, facing the phone or laptop and talking. It just feel so weird for me. This is my struggle at home during this MCO period. I really miss my music group class with the little children.

Since I feel like not doing anymore of that, we are now more keen in baking, cooking and trying out new recipes. Food does makes us happy. So, now we're on the journey of making our tummy happy:)

Early in the morning mum made pizza for breakfast. Pizza topped with sausages, mushroom, leek and cheese. She actually also made custard pudding dessert for supper.

In the afternoon, it was bro's turn to do some baking. He got the recipe from this The Winnie-the-Pooh Cookbook (who knew Pooh can cook). He was making this cake called Hipy Papy Bthuthdth Thuthda Bthuthdy Cake. This cake has honey in it which was Pooh's favourite food.

After almost two hour of making and baking. Here the cake fresh from the oven and rice cooker. The rectangular one was baked in the oven and the circle one was cooked with rice cooker. Both tasted delicious but I liked the one cooked with rice cooker where the texture is softer.

Stay at home, cook and eat!
