14 Days Diary of COVID-19 (Day 13)

30th March 2020, Monday

Hello! It's the 13th day of MCO here in Malaysia. Today I woke up early, 7.00 am thinking to be productive, but end up not. Started the day having breakfast with family, American style breakfast bread with sausage, egg, baked beans and my favourite green tea.

Breakfast

This morning we had an important mission, buying some groceries to distribute to few of our church members who are in need. Mum and I went to the opposite store to get some food for them while dad was assign to get it delivered to them. Feel thankful being able to do something for other during this time.

Later on we had lunch, I cooked a simple dish, tomato chicken and heated up last batch of mum's sambal udang.

After lunch, sky was getting gloomy and dark then it started to raining. Feeling cool and wanted to rest. Bro switched on The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. I watched half way and my eyes started to close and right before the movie finish my eye opened again , hehe...

Winkwink & Chipchip watching too

After waking up from nap, I managed to settle some admin work of the music centre. At least I did some work.

Tonight I've put in some time for bible study. I always wanted to learn more about Book of Revelation. I managed to listen to three videos and shall continue tomorrow. I hope I can finish it before the MCO ends.

Thanks to Joseph for sharing this link to me for quite some time, but only now that I managed to have time and a peace mind to really listen and learn about it. This is the link to the bible study: Bible study on Book of Revelation (in Chinese)

Hope to be more productive tomorrow with a discipline schedule!

14 Days Diary of COVID-19 (Day 12)

29th March 2020, Sunday

Well, it's Sunday again! I didn't do much during the day time. As usual we had breakfast together then I prepared and setup for my online piano lesson with my student at 1.30 pm.

Set-up for online class

It was my first live online lesson with my student and we were using video call on Whatsapp. From camera placement to giving instructions and keeping students focus was really challenging especially for younger student. It was good experience though, shall improve for the next session.

14 Days Diary of COVID-19 (Day 6)

23rd March 2020, Monday

Hello Monday!

Last night I've prepared some song for my Lagenda group class children and I shared it with their parents through WhatsApp group for their children to practice at home. So some parents requested video for the songs so that they can play and sing along. So it was time for me to film the videos.

My bro assisted me in filming the videos and the process took around 1 hour plus. Then we break for lunch. After lunch I started to edit the videos, one is for ukulele class and another is for music and movement. Feel free to check out the videos here: Music & Movement , Ukulele

Remember to continue to stay safe at home everyone :)

14 Days Diary of COVID-19 (Day 4)

21st March 2020, Saturday

I woke up early today, around 7.00 am. It was Sabbath Day and I seldom get to observe the full Sabbath as I'm working on Saturday morning. Thank God for this blessing in disguise, even though we can't go out to church for service but I get to observe the full Sabbath and also to rest.

I cooked breakfast for the family, two types of menu (sounds like a chef hehe) first one is Fried Rice with Sausage and Egg, second is Tomato Pasta with Crabmeat.

After breakfast we prepared ourselves for the online morning Sabbath service at 10.00 am. The service was led by Pr. James Yapp and interpreter was Dn. James Kieu. The sermon title was Pada Hari Yang Malang, Ingatlah. Sang hymn number 388 and followed by prayer. Preacher Yapp delivered his sermon then ended with singing hymn number 344 then followed by prayer.

After the morning service we took short nap while waiting for afternoon service at 2.00 pm. The afternoon Sabbath service was led by Pr. Zakheus Yong in Malay and interpreted by Sis. Evelyn in Mandarin. Sang hymn number 333 and then followed by prayer. Preacher Yong delivered sermon title Lembah Akhor Menjadi Pintu Pengharapan. Second hymn was 407 and ended with prayer.

Thank God after the service I feel more comforted through the words of God. I feel more safe and not worrying too much of the spread of virus because in Him we trust and also He is also the provider of shelter in the time of storm. But that does not mean we can go out any where that we want, we must still obey to the rules by the government.

Watch LIVE Online Sermon from True Jesus Church Sabah here:

Later at around 5.00 pm, mum and me went to the newly opened Pick n Pay store just right in front of our apartment (within walking distance) to buy some food. Thank God having this store which is convenient for us during these days.

Remember to pray. Stay safe everyone.

p/s: Donggongon choir was supposed to attend KKR Kudat on today and tomorrow.
