Laptop Recovered

1 month back, I suddenly found out that my laptop wasn't able to connect to the Internet like usual. Back then, I only use Streamyx which connecting to the Internet using cable-modem. I thought the cable was the problem, however I realised it wasn’t the cable problem. I tried going online with the home pc and it works fine. Ok, so it was my laptop problem. Later in school I tried to connect via broadband borrowed from a friend of mine, I can go online without facing any problems. I even asked my computing teacher what problem was my laptop facing. However no solution. Then, I was wondering if I should get a broadband for myself.

So I did. On the 7 of September, I escaped school. Mum brought me open a BSN bank account for future needs. Coincidentally, when we were walking back to our car, there was a Maxis broadband booth near where we parked our car. However at the same time I was hesitate if I should get an Android phone instead where I can use the tethering. After considering price and all kinds of function I decided to get a broadband. We went back to the booth and signed up for a new broadband. The modem was free!! I paid RM100 for the activation fee.

I was super duper happy. Still I need to wait till the next day before I can use it. I waited patiently. The next day I quickly tried it on my laptop. For the first time, it works. I managed to log on to my Facebook account. Later I tried disconnecting and reconnecting, problems occurred. I have to reinstall it before I can use it again. It really pissed me off. So, I thought I might have to update the drivers. So I did update the drivers. But, it became even worse. Ok, now I can’t even install it anymore. Arghhh!!! Ok, that’s it! I wasn’t blaming the broadband, I knew my laptop was facing some problems which I don’t know.

I really wanted to reformat my laptop at that moment so that it can work like before, like NEW! But, I can’t. At that time I was dealing with my art project and computing project. I can’t afford to lose all the important data stored in my laptop. Again I waited patiently. Said to myself, will reformat this laptop as soon I finished all my projects.

As soon I finished all my projects, I started back-up all my files since last week until today. There were about 200GB.

Then today, that process ends. Finally I reformatted it. And now, my laptop is running smoothly. :) <-- Happy face.
