Phase 4 - Stay at Home (Day 44)

30th April 2020, Thursday

Wow! Time flies, it's the end of the month already. These days been started to get busy with some work on the laptop. M eyes get tired easily when facing laptop for long hours. I needed to prepare for this Sunday RE lesson then working on the music censor board website during the afternoon.

I also did some preparation for online keyboard group lesson which will start this Saturday. I'm really nervous about it and really don't have any idea how to conduct it. The kids are just 5 years old. Hopefully they can focus throughout the 30 minutes lesson.

Tonight, we joined the youth fellowship bible study on Revelation chapter 1 with Pr. Thomas Fung.

Phase 4 - Stay at Home (Day 43)

29th April 2020, Wednesday

Hey peeps! Today Malaysia entered the forth phase of MCO which is also 43 days in total up till to date. Thank God we are flattening the curve now, new cases are decreasing too and hopefully everything will go back to normal soon.

This morning mum and I went to get some groceries and necessities. Apparently we went to two stores but it was unplanned and both stores are within our neighbourhood area. The first stores that we went, there were so many face masks and hand sanitizers selling and with more affordable price. At the beginning of the pandemic, all were sold out and sellers taking advantages and opportunities to hiked up the price.

bought my favourite curry powder for cooking

When we were heading home, mum asked, "Do you want to go to Pick N Pay?" The store was just directly opposite our apartment. Yup so we went there. Both of us were thinking, must have be because we didn't go out for such a long period. Suddenly just feel so good being outside.

Tonight we joined the Wedenesday service, led by Dn. Timothy Wong with sermon titled Tuhan Meredakan Angin Ribut.

Third 14 Days of Stay at Home (Day 42)

28th April 2020, Tuesday

Today is the last day of MCO Phase 3. Three of us are so pumped up to cook or bake something today. We even planned it yesterday.

Fried rice & nuggets for breakfast

In the morning, bro made his plain bread with sunflower seed paired with matcha sauce. After breakfast, mum started her project of making her pumpkin bread. As for me, I made pumpkin soup for dinner.

Third 14 Days of Stay at Home (Day 41)

27th April 2020, Monday

It's Monday again. I had avocado on toast for breakfast today, my first time tasting it. When ever we had bread at home, but we don't have avocado at home and vice versa. Yeah, finally today is the day to have it. I topped it with some sunflower seeds and I really like the taste of it. Definitely very healthy and tummy filling breakfast.

Version 1: sliced avocado

Version 2: smashed avocado

Today it's another day of our cooking project. Bro and me made onion rings for the first time. This is the video recipe guide that we followed. Instead of coating with bread crumbs, we use crushed chilli cheese Corntoz snack. Sadly, 1 pack wasn't enough so the other half was coated with flour only.

First attempt: Onion Rings

Mum's first attempt: Roasted BBQ Pork (Char Sau)

Thank God, tonight we managed to join the online bible study via Google Meet by Pr. Thomas Fung on the topic of book of Daniel Chapter 2.
