We're in Korea: Nami Island 남이섬 (Part 2)

19032018: It's our first day in Korea. Nami Island is our very first destination upon arrival in South Korea. The bus ride from Incheon Airport to Nami Island took us about 2 hours.

That's our Korea Tour Guide, Madam Lee Ping showing us the map and some brief history about the Nami Island.

We took a ferry to cross over the river, just a few minutes ride. Although it was raining drizzling, the whether was really nice, cool air with temperature around 5 to 7 degree Celsius.

We arrived and strolled around the island for 1 hour. Definitely a nice place to relax and to be in touched with the nature.

Tour group photo

Love this shot!

Everyone was excited to feel and touched snow for the first time. Some snow / ice which are not melted yet from the winter season.

They have ostriches here!

There are restaurants, cafe, museums on the island but we didn't had much time to check them out, so we just walked around on the island enjoying and snap photos.

So, what makes this island a popular tourist spot is that a popular Korean drama, Winter Sonata was filmed here. So, everyone who comes here wouldn't want to miss taking a photo at this spot, (Winter Sonata, main actor & actress)

We managed to try out the corn and chicken bar, each for 3,000 Korean Won.

Yummy!! :)

They too, don't wanna miss the chance playing the snow.

Say bye-bye to Nami Island and it's time to go back to the mainland.

Together with our tour leader (Mr Vincent Chin) & Korea tour guide (Madam Lee Ping)

Stay tuned!
