Six Stars Steamboat Restaurant, Tawau, Sabah (六星火鍋)

Travelling in Tawau?

Searching for a fine and reasonable restaurant to have your dinner?

Tawau is located on the south-eastern coast of Sabah (Borneo), Malaysia and famous for fresh seafood. Recently, my family had a holiday trip to Tawau and came across Six Stars Steamboat Restaurant to have our dinner. I highly recommend it to everyone who is travelling at Tawau.

Wondering the price before you decide to dine-in?
Adult : RM 35 per pax
Child: RM 18 per pax (below 12 years old)

As you can see, in the first row there are wide selections of meat and seafood: lamb, beef, beef tendons, crabs, squid, fish, fish maw, chicken and also tofu (beancurd)   



In the second row, there are vegetables, corn, mushrooms, tomatoes, eggs, noodles, kway teow and vermicelli.

They also serve cooked dishes such as fried noodles, fried rice, fried chicken wings and wan tan (dumpling).

Coming to the third row. You can see a wide selection of frozen products such as meatballs, fish balls squid balls, crabmeats, sausages and seafood tofu. Apart from that, there is also fresh seafood; prawns and few types of clam. There are also stuffed eggplant, chilli, bitter gourd and ladies fingers.

Wondering what these yellow things are? Butter! It acts as oil for you to grill meat or seafood. The butter is rolled up in a small plate; it's very convenient for customers to use it. 


Time for cooking! As for the soup / broth, you may choose either chicken or tom yam. As you can see, there is grilling pan around the pot. Meaning you can steam and grill the food at the same time.

And this is the drinks and desserts section. The restaurant serves orange juice, Chinese tea and plain water. 


For desserts, there are pudding and also ice-creams!! It is included in the all-you-can-eat price.

Tertiary Education Bible Camp 2016 (Last Day) - Kem Alkitab IPT 2016

Day 4 /Last Day: 2 May 2016 (Monday)

The past three days was really well-spent under His love and grace. Like usual, we started off our day with the morning prayer to thanked God for His protections and continue to guide us until all of us get home safely on that day. After the morning prayer, we had our last breakfast at TJC Keningau.

At 8.00 am, we were scheduled to have Holy Communion and it was led by Pr. Zakharia. 


Since we are catching up the bus at 12.00 pm, immediately after the Holy Communion we had a short closing ceremony.

After the closing ceremony, TJC Keningau brethren prepared lunch for us before we depart back to KK. By 11.00 am, it's time for farewell and goodbye. 

Till we meet again everyone

TJC Keningau brothers sent us to the bus terminal at Keningau town. 24 of us from KK heading back by Tung Ma Express.

We are on board!

At 12.00 pm sharp, we departed from Keningau and the journey took about 2 hours and 30 minutes to reach KK bus terminal. Then, church vans from TJC KK picked us up back to TJC KK. Thank God, all of us arrived safely. Till we meet again.
